About Kohala Resort Realty

Aloha.

My wife Heidi and I are the owners of Kohala Resort Realty, LLC, a boutique Real Estate and REO firm established in Kamuela on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are both licensed real estate brokers in Hawaii and co-manage a very active office and REO team.

In 1985 we established and operated "Real Estate Offices" in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. In 1990 we relocated to Sun Valley, Idaho and owned and operated Evergreen Land Co. After 14 years of successful Real Estate dealings in the Idaho market we decided it was time to come full circle and returned home to Hawaii in 2004.

We have been married for 23 years and have 3 great children. Our son Matt, graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Computer Sciences and is our acting IT manager. Our son, Nick, recently earned his Hawaii real estate license and is currently attending Hawaii Pacific University on Oahu studying business and finance. He has been working with us for the past couple of years learning the family trade. Our daughter, Leah, recently graduated from Hawaii Preparatory Academy here on the Big Island and will be attending Northern Arizona University in the Fall.

We are career real estate professionals and REO specialists who know the details of this involved process inside and out. Our business continues to grow as we take on new challenges and new clients.
